Getting the Best Deals on Black Friday - This year retailers are expecting sales numbers to be the worst they've been in four decades. What does this mean to shoppers for after Thanksgiving sales?
For starters, doorbusters and huge deals on computers, cell phones and electronics won't be limited to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but will likely
extend to Christmas Eve. Look for outstanding deals on the seasons hottest toys, game consoles, LCD TVs, netbooks, and other electronics throughout December!
A key element of your succes this holiday season, will be knowing when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. Retailers have anticipated low sales for the 2009 Christmas and holiday shopping season and have ordered products accordingly.
That means a truckload will not be showing up to restock their shelves if an item sells out. Onces it's gone, the good deal is gone too.
So, it's is a gamble: will you buy it now at a good price, or wait for an even better one and risk missing out all together?
Are there ways to make Black Friday and the day after Thanksgiving Day sales even better? Yes, there are when you
know the stores' price matching policy, join any free rewards programs and take advantage of trade-in opportunities.
OCTOBER 28, 2009 UPDATE!
Retailers have begun their 2009 shopping season doorbusters early!! Sears is starting their doorbuster season on October 30, 2009 with more doorbuster deals added weekly. You do NOT have to wait until Black Friday to get good deals at most of the stores listed below. In fact, Target's Black Friday deal is not that different from prices being offered there right now!!
Retailers simply cannot afford to wait until Black Friday, so don't wait to get the good deals. Chances are come Black Friday the really good stuff will be gone since inventory is limited.
